What happens at a homeopathic consultation?


An initial consultation can last up to two hours with a follow-up appointment typically taking up to an hour. You will be asked to complete a questionnaire about your health and medical history before the appointment. During the consultation you will have plenty of time to talk about all of your symptoms, and your homeopath will ask about your general health and well-being. The homeopath needs to fully understand all about you to select the correct remedy, so you will be asked for a lot of information, for example, how you sleep, what you like to eat and so on.


The homeopath may give you a remedy to take home with you but sometimes may need to study your case for a little longer before choosing a remedy for you. The remedy will then be sent to you by post. There are over 3000 remedies to choose from, so considering your case and selecting the right remedy can take a little time.
